Monticello Vineyards is a family-owned Winery since 1970. They have 5 estate vineyards in Napa Valley. The grapes for this Merlot come from their Oak Knoll District vineyard, which is located just north of the city of Napa.

With the weather taking a jump this week, we selected a red wine with smooth tannins and medium acidity. It has the berry and plum flavors we expect, as well as some dried herbs and earthiness. The finish is pleasantly long. This wine pairs deliciously with red meat, but we also highly recommend either of our pizzas with this wine as well.
